Life with Endometriosis

Lots of blood
The symbols in this image show some of the many symptoms that people with endometriosis frequently have to cope with.

Bleeding Burns
Endometriosis pain has often been described as burning, penetrating heat. Heavy, irregular or continuous bleeding can indicate the presence of endometriosis.

Bad Back Pain
Back pain, cramps and shooting nerve pain.

Scratchy Nerve Pain
Pain that shoots sharply up and down the nerves of the body.

Bleeding Headache
Having a headache as well as sharp pelvic pain.

No-one can see it
Endometriosis symptoms are often private and are therefore hidden and can be difficult to talk about.
